Private access to our micro pigs’ play paddock and entry to Huckleberry Woods for one person.
Your experience starts with a briefing to show you how to interact with the micro pigs. Tickle them, brush them and feed them and enjoy a special kind of peace and calm that only sitting with micro pigs can bring. You’ll have plenty of opportunity to stroke the piggies, take photos and ask questions.
Whilst it’s extremely likely they’ll be up for a tummy tickle and a brush, there’s no guarantee that they’ll approach you and we never force them to do anything they don’t want to. They are unlikely to get on your lap. They do not like being picked up so please don’t try. Be prepared to tell them ‘no’ or give them a little shove if they try and nibble your shoes or trousers (Rodney Trotter is the most likely to do this) .
You’ll be meeting the piggies from our April 2020 litter, who are now fully grown. A fully grown micro or mini pig is about the size of a Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Please don’t expect tiny piglets.
You’ll be accompanied by a Huckleberry Woods pig handler to help you and your piggy stay safe. Includes entry to Huckleberry Woods micro animal adventures for up to two hours.

This experience is for adults and sensible children over 9 years of age. You have to be able to remain calm and quiet around the piggies. This experience is not suitable for the under 9s.

Friends and family are welcome to book a piggy encounter at the same time as yours. Up to five people from your family or friends group can enter the play area at the same time as long as they have purchased a piggy encounter ticket in advance. Or they can watch all the fun from outside the piggies play area. They’ll need a spectator or visitor entry ticket to spectate.

Encounters last around 30 minutes. Your experience will take place at some point during our 2 hour session, but not necessarily as soon as you arrive. You can spend the rest of your 2 hour session here with the other free ranging animals at Huckleberry Woods micro animal adventures.

There are friendly, free ranging animals wandering around the orchard. Do be prepared for them to get up close.
Huckleberry Woods is not a gravel pathway, chemical weed killer type of place – it’s wild and back to nature. It’s located in a small private orchard and is charming and understated rather than large, slick and commercial. It’s not the sort of place where you rush between loads of animal enclosures, vending machines and other distractions. A visit here offers an hour or two of peace and serenity. Time to relax. Time to ‘be’ not just ‘do’ and time to reconnect with nature. Please consider whether this type of relaxing experience is your cup of tea before booking. The experience is totally outside. Huckleberry Woods is a Covid secure venue.

PLEASE REMEMBER TO WEAR CLOSED TOED FOOTWEAR FOR YOUR VISIT (NO FLIP FLOPS OR SANDALS). You won’t be able to come in with open-toed footwear. This is for your safety.
