Meet, greet & groom cute animals in the Kent countryside
Meet and groom some of the friendliest animals you’ve ever encountered:
- Cute micro pigs
- Miniature donkeys
- Pygmy goats
This experience is for 2-4 people, and will be hosted by a knowledgeable member of the Huckleberry Crew who will tell you all there is to know about caring for these wonderful animals.
Don’t forget to grab a selfie with the free-roaming alpacas, teddy bear and Valais Blacknose sheep and miniature chickens. And what could be nicer than tucking into a cup of tea and cake afterwards.
What’s included
- Meet and groom adult micro pigs (a fully grown micro pig is about the size of a Staffordshire Bull Terrier)
- Meet and groom Wizard and Duke the miniature donkeys
- Meet and brush the cheeky pygmy goats
- Animal feed

Arrive at either 10.30 am or 1.30pm for your two hour visit to Huckleberry Woods. Your Meet, Greet and Groom experience will last about 30 minutes and will take place at some point during your two hour visit, but not necessarily as soon as you arrive. As part of your visit, you'll also enjoy a cup of tea and cake in the mini cafe. Enjoy the peace and tranquillity of sitting with beautiful free ranging animals around you. Feed the alpacas and donkeys their favourite snacks.

Please be aware that micro, mini and tea cup pigs are just different names for the same type of piggy. Despite what the internet would like you to believe, they don't stay as small as a piglet for their whole lives, this is a myth. A fully grown micro pig will reach around 7 stone. They're wonderful animals and very small compared to other pigs but please don't expect them to stay as tiny as a piglet for their whole lives.

There are friendly, free ranging animals wandering around the orchard. Do be prepared for them to get up close.
Huckleberry Woods is not a gravel pathway, chemical weed killer type of place – it’s wild and back-to-nature. It's located in a small private orchard and is charming and understated rather than large, slick and commercial. It's not the sort of place where you rush between loads of animal enclosures, vending machines and other distractions. With limits on the number of guests booked in at any one time, we offer an hour or two of peace and serenity. Time to relax. Time to 'be' not just 'do' and time to reconnect with nature. You will be mingling with some free ranging, inquisitive animals at our animal farm in Kent. Please consider whether this type of relaxing and up-close experience is your cup of tea before booking. The experience is totally outside.

PLEASE REMEMBER TO WEAR CLOSED TOED FOOTWEAR FOR YOUR VISIT (NO FLIP FLOPS, SANDALS, BALLET PUMPS OR CROCS). You won’t be able to come in with open toed footwear. This is for your safety.
