Please arrive at the beginning of your booked session.

Before you book, please consider that Huckleberry Woods is not a gravel pathway, chemical weed killer type of place – it’s wild and back to nature.

It’s located in a small and rustic, private orchard in the beautiful Kent countryside, and is charming and understated rather than large, slick and commercial. It’s not the sort of place where you rush between loads of animal enclosures, vending machines, and other distractions.

It offers an hour or two of peace and serenity. Time to relax. Time to ‘be’ not just ‘do’ and time to reconnect with nature. You’ll be a million miles away from the commercialism of other days out.

What a little gem!

My son had such a lovely time walking Lord Truffles the piggy. Lovely, friendly and knowledgable staff, beautiful setting and most importantly, happy and well looked after animals! Because the animals are happy and their welfare is put first, it was really noticeable how much more interactive they were to animals seen at busier and more ‘commercial’ farms/zoos. We will definitely be visiting again.

Such a beautiful place

My first time at Huckleberry Woods and was not disappointed, a very chilled relaxed vibe, my grandchildren loved it and I can't wait to return. Fantastic value, love the animals roaming around, just such a beautiful place.

Chilled experience

We had an amazing day out. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. They only allow a certain amount of people in, which I think is great as you're not falling over people trying to look at the animals, It was such a nice, chilled, stress-free experience.

"A wonderful experience"

A wonderful experience for my daughter's birthday, walking and brushing a piggie called Princess! The owners were lovely, offering lots of knowledge of all their animals. Very calming and peaceful, with beautiful blossom trees. My daughter loved it so much, ended the day with an ice cream & cuddly pig toy 🐽!

"Highly recommended"

We had the best time. My daughter loved seeing all the animals but the pigs she loved the most. She got to walk her own pig. The owners are super friendly and all staff are helpful, felt very family like. Definitely highly recommend and will return again.

"Fantastic experience"

Lovely experience - very friendly, helpful, informative and passionate staff, and very cute animals who seem very well looked after! Went for a pig walk with friends and family and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. We also got to feed some of the other animals, including alpacas, donkeys and turkeys, which was another treat for us. We were a group of adults aged 25-64 and we all loved it. Huge thanks to the whole team!

"Superb experience"

We booked the micro pig walk for my daughter's birthday and she loved it. All the animals were super friendly, happy and clearly well looked after. Good value for money. The toilets are composting toilets but they were very clean. We love the fact this isn’t a zoom-around looking at all the enclosures type of place like other zoos or farms but a relaxed, quaint little farm where you can enjoy a couple of hours watching the animals. A very personal experience. We will definitely be back.

Enchanted orchard

Wonderful experience, would recommend to everyone who loves to get up close and interact with animals. My Granddaughter really enjoyed walking Rupert the teddy bear sheep and learning all about him and his friends. Loved seeing all the other animals living their best lives in this beautiful little setting run by lovely friendly people. Enjoyed a nice hot drink and muffin in the little cafe area and just felt like we were in an enchanted orchard a million miles away from everyday life. What a gem this place is.
